Sarah Weiß is part of the Heinrich Böll Foundation’s Global Support for Democracy Unit in Brussels and heading the Young Advocates for Democracy (YA4D) Programme since March 2024.
Before joining the Democracy unit in Brussels, she worked for the hbs Regional Office New Delhi as a regional programme coordinator, overseeing projects on resource equity, environment protection, sustainable urbanism and peace & democratization in the region South Asia.

Su Mon Thant
Regional Coordinator Asia
Su Mon is a researcher and democracy defender from Myanmar. She has been engaged in several democracy movements for many years, always aiming at the strengthening of democratic institutions.
Su Mon has been among the first selected members of the Young Advocates For Democracy (YA4D) network and is currently coordinating a cooperation project with young journalists inside Myanmar.
