How do I change my password or my email address?

Change password: By clicking on the profile picture in the top right corner you will find the sub-item “Profile settings”. Now click on “Change password” in the left menu. A new window opens, where you first have to enter the old password and then the new password twice.

Change email address: By clicking on the profile picture in the top right corner you will find the sub-item “My service account”. Here you will find all your basic data, including your email address. Simply enter the new email address here and then click on “Save” below.

I have forgotten my password. What can I do?

On the login page https://ya4d.network/login, click on the “Forgot your password?” Option in the left menu bar. A new window is opening up. Here you have to enter your email address and follow the instructions to reset the password in the email. In this Youtube video the whole is again explained.

How can I write messages and to whom?

You can write messages to all registered users on the YA4D platform. If you click on the letter icon on the right in the top menu bar, Rocket.Chat will open. Here you can search for users using the search icon in the top left column. In the left column you can also see group chats of the groups in which you are a member.
In Rocket.Chat you can also create new chat groups or channels and add other network members. Use the edit symbol (top right) in the left column for this.

How can I have direct messages forwarded to my email address?

There are two options for forwarding direct messages to your email address:

Via the notification settings on the YA4D platform: To do this, click on the profile avatar in the top right corner of the title bar and in the drop-down menu on “Notification settings”. In the first point, the notification emails from the YA4D platform must be activated (regardless of whether it is immediately, daily, weekly or individually). A second setting option for Rocket.Chat is now visible. There you can set “E-Mails for all direct messages and mentions”. If you would like to receive the direct messages as email, but no emails / reports on other activities from the YA4D, use the second option:
Via Rocket. Chat: First, Rocket.Chat must be opened via the letter symbol in the upper right corner of the title bar. There you click on the profile avatar in the top left corner of Rocket. Chat and then on “My Account”. Now there is the heading “Settings” on the left side, which you click on. Under “Notifications” there is the item “Offline E-Mail Notifications”. If you set “Every mention / DM” here, you will receive direct messages to the email address with which you are registered on the YA4D platform.
